To be honest, ‘having it all’ doesn’t mean much to me personally. I know it mostly as a term that’s thrown around for what women are supposed to want—a fulfilling job, babies, a long-term monogamous relationship, nice stuff, time for yourself. I guess to me it means having the freedom to make choices, to know that everything I do have is something I chose or worked for, not a situation I was pushed into.
